About the event
Vulkana Supper Club concept is based on bringing to Tromsø the best of Europe's culinary talents on a monthly basis.
Each chef will create a tasting menu, for a maximum of 12 guests, to be served in the intimate setting of Vulkana, an old whaling boat from 1957 restored to the state of the art of a spa.

Erik Tufte has been a mainstay of the Oslo food scene for years, having come through the baptism of fire that is the Norsk Kokkelandslag with contemporaries of the calibre of Jimmy Oien and the current Norwegian Bocuse dÓr Captain, Filip August Bendi! Having worked at a number of Oslo´s top spots (eg: Arakataka), He finally ascended the throne as Head Chef at the Legendary Palace Grill, Oslo´s famous 30 seat house of hedonism and decadence, which he has taken to new heights with his refined nordic cooking style, whilst delivering magical flavours that hit like a sexy food hammer! Its almost impossible to get a table at this legendary institution, so we are extremely proud and excited that he has agreed to lend his talents to the Vulkana Supper Club and Tromso´s finest gastronauts!
Yen Tran is Restauranteur, Restaurant Manager and Head Sommelier of the Michelin acclaimed Cru Vin og Kjokken, Majorstuen´s most elegant fine dining restaurant that re-invents British classics with the finest Nordic ingredients, a cuisine that screams elegance! With her partner in Crime James Maxwell-Stewart (ex Fat Duck) taking care of the food, as head sommelier she has built one of the finest wine lists in the Nordics, with a focus on European classics and the best from the New World. Known to be one of the best sommeliers in Norway, she will join her partner in life Tufte to deliver a magnificent dining experience, infused with her keen and ever so naughty sense of fun, that will be absolutely unmissable!
