Meet Mauro Buffo, notable chef who's been in many of the best kitchens in the world. Most noteworthy was the beginnings under the guide of Gualtiero Marchesi, his four years with Ferran Adriá at El Bulli, the experiences in New York and Japan before returning to Verona, his hometown.

About the event
The Vulkana Supper Club hosts the best of the Nordics, and Europe's culinary talents on a monthly basis in the setting of an old whaling vessel converted into a state-of-the-art of spa boat. A place for people to come together in the intimate environment of a dinner party, create memories and experience unforgettable culinary moments.
For our January edition we are bringing to Tromsø Italian Michelin chef Mauro Buffo from Ristorante 12 Apostoli * (Verona). Mauro is an outstanding chef who's been in many of the best kitchens in the world. His career began very early, at the court of Gualtiero Marchesi (the first Italian chef winning 3 Michelin stars). He took part in Massimiliano Alajmo’s Le Calandre *** adventure, before devoting four years to the Ferran Adriá revolution at El Bulli***. Then he ran off to exile in New York, with frequent retreats in Tokyo, before finally returning to his birthplace in Verona. Currently on a journey towards the hardest place to find: himself.
We will serve a tasting menu alongside with wine pairing. The use of all the spa facilities on board (sauna, hot tub, and hammam) are included in the package. Bring your own swimming suite; robe, towels and slippers are provided by Vulkana.
